Machine learning for finance, taught in the cloud
Up Grecipe delivers structured, instructor-led training on cloud-based ML tools applied to real financial problems.
Sessions run as group cohorts or private arrangements - learners choose the format that fits their schedule and working style.

What this program does that others skip
Most ML courses teach algorithms in isolation. Here, every technique is anchored to a financial context - credit risk scoring, portfolio signal generation, or anomaly detection in transaction data.
Cloud infrastructure is not a backdrop. Learners configure, deploy, and monitor models on actual cloud environments throughout the program.
The emphasis is on judgment, not just execution - understanding when a model is appropriate, when it is not, and what the output actually means in a financial setting.
Finance-grounded datasets
Training data comes from financial domains - not generic benchmarks used across every ML course.
Live cloud environments
Learners work inside cloud platforms directly, not through simulated or sandboxed approximations.
Instructor review of outputs
Model results are discussed with instructors, not just auto-graded by a system.
What makes progress here consistent
Each session builds on what came before. Instructors track where each learner is, not where the syllabus says they should be.
Group sessions create friction in the right way - questions from other participants surface gaps that solo study rarely exposes.
The shape of the experience - what it feels like as it unfolds
Orientation and baseline
The first two weeks establish where each learner stands. No assumption is made about prior ML exposure - only about comfort with financial data.
Working with real pipelines
From week three, learners build and modify actual ML pipelines. Errors are expected and discussed - not penalised.
Applied judgment
Later sessions shift toward interpretation - why a model behaves as it does, and what that means when the data is financial in nature.
What is available
Two formats exist - both cover the same material, structured around different working arrangements.
Group format
Cohort-based learning with scheduled sessions
Groups of up to 12 learners move through the program together. Sessions run on fixed schedules - participants join from different time zones using asynchronous catch-up recordings between live meetings.

Private sessions arranged around your schedule
One instructor, one learner. Sessions are scheduled to fit the learner's calendar and pace. The syllabus adapts based on what each person already knows and what they are working toward.
