System & Software
Hardware and software checklist
Cloud ML tools for finance run in-browser, so no specialist hardware is needed. A stable internet connection and a modern browser cover the majority of requirements.

Chrome 112+, Firefox 115+, or Edge 112+. Safari 16.4+ works but is not recommended for Jupyter-based environments.

How the learning environment fits together
Every session runs through a single browser-based environment. Notebooks, video, and instructor tools are unified - no switching between applications mid-session.
The platform connects to cloud ML infrastructure directly, so participants work with real data pipelines during exercises rather than simulated environments.
- Jupyter notebooks hosted on Google Colab or AWS SageMaker Studio Lab
- Live video via an embedded WebRTC layer - no separate conferencing app
- Session recordings available within 2 hours of each live class
- Instructor screen sharing and co-editing supported in group sessions
